Orto Urbano Ostuni is a Mediterranean garden food court located just two minutes’ walk from the main square of Ostuni and the Column of Saint Oronzo, in the heart of the historic centre. The space sits within a 1,500-square-metre garden that was once a traditional urban vegetable plot — part of the network of cultivated gardens that historically sustained the town. After years of abandonment, the site has been carefully restored, preserving its original soul while reimagining it for contemporary life.
Surrounded by oleanders and native Apulian plants, the atmosphere is relaxed and unmistakably Southern Italian: warm, open, and naturally convivial. The design is minimal yet rooted in rural tradition, combining wood, straw textures and clean architectural lines to create a setting that feels both timeless and modern.
Food & Drinks
The kitchen and bar work exclusively with Apulian ingredients, crafted in-house by our culinary team into dishes and drinks that celebrate local flavours from brunch through to dinner. Orto Urbano is designed to be easy and inclusive: whether guests come for a full meal, a cocktail in the garden, or simply to spend an unhurried evening outdoors, the space adapts effortlessly to small groups and larger gatherings alike.
Private Events
A dedicated section of the garden is reserved for private events by booking only, including birthday celebrations, wedding gatherings, baptisms, and pre- or post-wedding occasions — always maintaining the intimate, authentic character that makes Orto Urbano distinct within Ostuni.

We organise lots of events open to the public, some for free to attend and some ticketed. For 2026 this is our schedule:
